Our colleague and friend Professor Yoram Ofek passed away
With deep sorrow we inform you that Professor Yoram Ofek passed away on December 9, 2009.
After a long research and teaching experience in the United States, he had taught at our department since 2004.
We saw him fighting courageously against the illness that had affected him in recent times, while carrying forward his research without interruption and until the end. He felt deeply involved in his research activity and he was one of the most productive members of our department.
We believe that we will never forget such an outstanding example of commitment to research.
